Delaware Authors Forum Presents: Psalms to Write By: Reflections, Prompts and Strategies
Margo McKenzie will present "Psalms to Write By: Reflections, Prompts, and Strategies" on August 25, 2024, 2:00-4:00. In her book, she shares how the prayers and poetry contained in the Psalms can inspire spiritual writing.
After retirement as an educational administrator with the NYC DOE. Mrs. McKenzie pivoted toward writing and completed an MFA as a Mitch and Lynn Baumeister Scholarship recipient in Creative Writing at Fairleigh Dickinson University. Her writing has appeared in Our Time Press, Faith-Fill Family Magazine, Stay Focused Magazine, and Power in the Pen, and other publications. During COVID, she attended Bethany Theological Seminary and studied theopoetics. where she began her reflective work on the sacred book of poems, the Psalms.
